This table and 2 chairs is so cute! Very well made and sturdy. My 3 year old granddaughter loves it and looks great in my kitchen area. Definitely recommend

I got this to protect my dining room table, lol. I don’t have any young kids at home, but my neighbors kids come over frequently and occasionally my two year old granddaughter comes over. The first thing they do when they get here is run over to the table to sit at it. Then within 15 minutes the chairs are dragged from the dining room to the living room and laying on their side, lol. I wondered how some of these tables in the reviews got so abused in such a short amount of time,......now I know, lol. But seriously, this one can take the abuse! It’s very solid and went together easily. Every hole lined up. The quality is just as good as my adult table from Rooms 2 Go. The espresso color looks espresso in a darker room, but has hints of cherry in the light. I used the furniture polish on it that came with my adult table and chairs and I feel this will help to give it extra protection. My neighbor also insisted that I put felt thingy’s on the feet to protect my hardwood floors. In fact, she helped me to put them on within five minutes of arriving at my house,......oh how she KNEW what her kids would do next!I found some plastic dishes that match mine and the cut one of my placemats in half, so now it can be set like the adult table.SIZE NOTES: The six year old said she really likes it because her feet can touch the floor. The two year old’s feet don’t touch the floor, but he is able to seat himself (and carry/drag the chairs from the living room to the dining room and use it as a step stool to climb up onto the barstools,......)

Great table and chairs. I shopped around for a long time before I decided on this set. It is a great price at $124 for a solid wood table with four chairs. The table and chairs are solid and sturdy, the finish is beautiful, and it had no scratches or damaged parts at all. I thought the size would be small, but I was really surprised, it is a good size and the chairs all fit under it. My four and a half year old has plenty of room to sit and draw pictures and even though the chairs are a little high for my one year old, I can put her on the chair and there is plenty of room on the table for at least two kids to do activities. Assembly of the table was super easy and was done within five to ten minutes. Assembly of the chairs was a little more labor, but all in all was fairly easy. I took a tip from another reviewer here and we put wood glue on the dowels during assembly. The screws were a little hard for my husband to tighten by hand, but it was all done within an hour. I gave this set 5 stars because it is a fantastic and well made set for the price. I can only point out one thing that I am not crazy about. The corners of the table are rounded and very safe, the top corners of the chairs however have very square, kind of sharp points to them. This could be a problem if a child were to fall into one of the corners, but that may never happen. I really wish though that they had made the corners of the chairs slightly rounder and smooth, but that does not detract from how great this set is overall. I chose this table after spending months reading reviews and price shopping all over the internet and I am very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend this set. One last thing: I read other reviewers say that the table is disproportionate to the chairs because it is small. I don't really agree with that. This is children's furniture, it doesn't have to be proportioned like adult's furniture. Basically, four kids could each have a plate and cup and sit at this table. I really don't see the need for a table bigger than this for my two kids and even a couple of friends. I think it is just right.

This is just what we were looking for! We get lots of complements on the table and chair set. It's a solid construction and very well made!My son is almost two and just over three feet tall. He fits at the table very well and loves sitting on the chairs. I have two of the chairs set up for him currently. (One chair, then a leg, then another chair.. so they aren't across from each other). The chairs all fit well if you put each chair to the same side of its side. Ie. Move them all to the right, or all to the left. If you put them all in centered or at different sides, you will not be able to push them in all the way... if that matters to you.I am 5"6. I also fit at the table. Clearly, this is not a replacement to our adult sized chairs and dining tables... but I can sit with my son to do crafts, which is nice.I have two crawlers under one that are learning to stand and thus pulling up on everything. The chairs do pull over easily. I've redirected a few times and spotted a few falls to get the message across. They've learned to pull up on the table instead of the chairs. That being said, I wouldn't leave them unattended with the chairs, They enjoy crawling under the table as well for now. They stand up to see what their big brother is up to and enjoy attempting to participate.I have had this set up for two days. Already... My son has stood on the chairs and they are sturdy enough to support him well. He has gotten halfway on the table. I'm sure he will eventually sneak onto the table while my back is turned... and I'm pretty sure they table will be just fine. I have the table set up on an alphabet mat, so there's a little padding for my adventurous tot.I like that the surface is easy to wipe off. Crayons.. Markers-- everything came off easy. It's a nice surface for playdo too!Putting everything together was a pain, but I did it alone and I was very satisfied with the end product. My thumbs were sore :-). I did it while watching a show after the kiddos went to bed. In the morning, my toddler said "Wooow! Chairs! Table! Oh boy!"Anyhow.. Well made. We're a happy bunch!
