Great stance for the cobalt SS. Ride is somewhat rough but as is expected when lowering that much. Definitely enjoy the look!

Great product. No rubbing when installed even with bigger wheels on. About a 2 inch drop.

Update! April 15, 2017: Two years later still going strong! Just inspected my whole suspension and everything still looks perfect. I've thought about going back to stock due to the ride quality, which actually isn't terrible for the amount of lowering these springs give, but my car looks too ugly at stock height. That being said, everything is smooth on the highway and handling is good. Just avoid potholes and bumps. I've hit several but luckily no problems yet.I've heard many good and bad things about Eibach lowering springs so I was worried about purchasing them. Overall I am satisfied though.Lowering: most importantly, they provide a large drop in the base model cobalts. My cobalt looks much better without that 4" wheel gap in the back. I don't believe it lowered the car the stated 2" in the front and 2.5" in the back, but it sure is much lower. It evens out the "rake" of the car (the front being lower than the back at stock height) and the front is not lowered so much as to interfere with steering or having to pull or roll fenders. If you want your cobalt slammed or no wheel gap whatsoever, springs are not what you want. But these springs are perfect for getting that lowered look and good handling.Handling: body roll is reduced tremendously and I have a lot of fun taking corners now. The only thing I don't like about these springs is how bouncy they are. I would prefer them to be stiffer for better performance, but the ride quality would suffer more in that case. These handle pretty nicely.Ride quality: that being said, I expected a much worse ride quality with such a large drop. You will definitely feel every bump with more force, but that would be the case with any amount of lowering. The car is bouncy over dips and such in the road, but it could be much worse. Really not bad ride quality for a lowered car. Some things to note. Please be safe if installing these yourself and use spring compressors so things don't get projected at high speeds. When these springs are installed, it's looks like they are fully compressed in the rear (as in all coils are touching), but there are several free coils on the bottom that are hard to see. I also installed 4 brand new struts with these springs and new sway bar endlinks (many stock ones break after lowering). I recommend getting the Moog endlinks that are designed to fit a Cobalt SS, as they will work better on a lowered base model (they are thicker and shorter which accounts for the lowering). I have not had any problems since lowering. I've been riding on them for about 2 months now.
