Just got this stand hoping it was going to work out. It does. I especially like the rear fold out legs that stabilize my uke from tipping back. Folds up nicely for travel, will probably be ordering more.

Before this one, I ordered another foldable lightweight guitar stand. While it was indeed very lightweight and portable, it does hold my guitars well (both acoustics as electrics), it just would not work for my basses, as they kept on slipping from it because the size was not big enough to keep the basses in place as they would not lean on it well (specially the offset body J Bass).So I ordered this one, and now it works perfectly, as I can extend most of it for my needs, it has now good padding on the edges!! So now I have this stand for my basses and the other one for my guitars! Problem solved!!

I wanted something light and small, and this fits the bill! I just purchased a starter guitar so I wasn't looking for anything too expensive or massive. I will say, it is rather light weight, so if you're a gigging musician this may not be the stand for you, as you wouldn't feel comfortable leaving your guitar on the bandstand at break, someone could easily knock your guitar over.
