Not sure if I got a faulty machine, it only worked one time, tried 2 more times and the cooling and alarm wouldn’t stop unless pulled from electric outlet!

This is a very good quality, heavy duty electric composter that takes in approximately one gallon or 3.5 L space for running and converting your kitchen scraps into compost. Make sure you add in as dry as possible scraps you need this way you would help in making compost quicker. Make sure you add in the activated charcoal in the filter before running it as it would keep on taking any smells coming from decomposition of food away. It has various alarms and sounds so make sure you read the instructions before operating it. I would suggest not to add in any fibrous stick like thing such as scale, wheat straws, or as one stride they become very difficult to break, and thus would end up getting stuck between the knife and wood result in machine to stop prematurely. Overall, the quality is good. The price can be slightly better as you can get an electric composter between 150 to 250 $ for the same capacity.

I really like this thing. I filled it to the fill line, alot of my stuff was egg shells so it wasn't completely stuffed full. I got about 1 1/2 cup of compost dirt. I did the 12-18 hr mix. It ran for at least 16hrs. When I first started it, it was a little loud but after maybe 30 mins or so it got quite. Then it did stink for a few minutes but that pasted. After that I didn't really hear it. The blue light that stays on when it's on is bright. The compost dirt does stink but I have it in a sealed container and mixed with dirt already. I am impressed.
