The slats are quite small so it’s more just decorative then functional, no screening to keep out insects etc and the material does feel strong enough to withstand Canadian temperature fluctuations. If using solely for decoration, it’s a nice, light piece

Beautiful items sold by this Seller. I ordered 2 of these to use as indoor window covers sadly one arrived broken completely in half . I hope this Seller sends me a replacement. I’ve never had a problem with any Seller on Amazon before.

We had a vent area that needed improvement and this vent cover was great. Took paint well. It’s like a hard styrofoam material which seems sturdy.

I ordered 2 to replace old non-standard sized attic windows. Received 1 in good condition, the other had 3 broken slats. Ordered 2 more to be safe. Second shipment received 1 in good condition, the 2nd one had 6 broken slats. Both shipments were banded & marked fragile. Packaging is insufficient in my opinion. Product is in a plastic bag inside a rather thin cardboard box, no corner guards or inner cardboard to provide protection during shipping.

First off, the vented product does not include an insect screen. You will need to purchase screening and staple it on the back otherwise your attic will be filled with bees. Additionally the total vented area is really small. It was almost a disservice installing these. I won't buy again.

It was made of hardening Styrofoam, not engineer wood, not vinyl, not plastic. Some odd reason it priced as if it made of quality material. Obviously, mine came with cracks, hole in another, and one looks oddly repackage and old.

Before you order remember this product comes in functional and decorative, the decorative does not have slots for the air to pass through. I ordered one as a decorative treatment for a gable end and for that application it worked great. I can imagine if you had an old vent you wanted to cover or an old exhaust fan you no longer wished to use this would work perfectly.It is made of solid foam with a smooth exterior finish. I attached it to stucco with an adhesive similar to Liquid Nails which was workable for about 15 minutes once I had it where i wanted used tape to keep it from moving. Once finished I caulked around the edges between the stucco and louver and painted. Looks great. Customer is happy.

looks great! just had to paint it and staple a screen to the back....obviously the price could be cheaper but you usually get what u pay for...oh and FYI the back is flat...my old vent had a recessed lip so this one sticks out close to a half inch further but still looks good
