After two years of staring at my non-working, unneeded ceiling fan I finally decided it was time to do something about it. My only hesitation had been dealing with an ugly cord hanging from my living room ceiling. This medallion was the perfect fix! I'm not a "builder" by any means, but this medallion was so lightweight and easy to put up that I literally was finished in less than a minute. The wires tucked neatly into the center of the medallion, I put some heavy duty, quick setting glue around the outer rim, and held it in place for a few minutes, and. I was done! I didn't even paint it because the medallion's color was what I would call "ceiling white" and matched my ceiling perfectly. My only regret was that I didn't order it sooner!

I wanted a totally smooth one but could not find one. This is the least decorative I could find.
