Your cart is empty.Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mould master. Once the mould master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. - Medallions can be cut using standard woodworking tools to add a hole for electrical or a ceiling fan canopy. - Medallions are light weight for easy installation. - They are fully primed and ready for your paint. I made a cut in the center 7” x 4” and painted with “Chestnut Brown spray paint- to adopt to my kitchen decorative flower and fruit basket hung from the ceiling. Perfect for the piece and add lot of cosmetic beauty to my kitchen and the decorative flower & fruit basket.

Purchased an Angel for the front of my shop, but she looked so lost, that I decided she needed a background and started from there looking at frames, trays and mounting placques used for taxidermy, but didn't want to spend a fortune and wanted to paint it. This medallion came with a raised center which my husband shaved off for me using a Dremel cutting wheel, as the piece is a HARD FOAM product...... After that, I sanded it and wiped it for dust... LOTS OF PLASTIC FOAM DUST!!... and then the next day, took it outside and spray painted it a dark red. After dry I laid the Angel on it and checked for placement and made some pencil marks on it. Using 3" screws which the Angel hangs on, I mounted the medallion on my shop, leaving enough "head" on the screws for the Angel to hang on and I am well pleased with the effect.

this is a nice looking medallion with a fatal flaw. The main issue is the backside is not completely flat, which prevents you from installing it flush to the ceiling. Unfortunately I didn't notice this until after it was painted and I tried to install it with my chandelier. I then had to spend 15 minutes with a belt sander to get the backside flush and reinstall everything. Not something that I expect with a medallion that is supposed to be installed. At least now it looks good after me finishing the job.

I have purchases several of these ceiling medallions. They are great quality and don't look cheap. They are well worth the price. Gave a beautiful touch to our new chandelier
