Your cart is empty.Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. Medallions can be cut using standard woodworking tools to add a hole for electrical or a ceiling fan canopy. Medallions are light weight for easy installation. I got the "bronze" finish, but it is actually more of a muddy brown that is slightly metallic. I added a golden yellow base and a metallic gold for the "feathers", and a chili pepper red with a copper glaze over it for the "tongues", and gave everything a black wash (just thinned down black paint) for more contrast. It looks very rich, and complements my antique chandelier. Very lightweight and easy to put up. This is the second medallion I've painted from this company and I am now an enthusiastic fan! I will definitely be buying more of their products.

I liked the pattern decoration, the appearance and the ease of placing it on the ceiling. The quality of manufacturing isn't matched with the price though. It has few imperfections during the molding process.

We used this medallion in our formal dining room and also in our master bathroom. It looks very expensive and can withstand the moisture from the shower. It was well worth the money!

Intricate and beautiful without being overdone or gaudy. Expect to spend sometime painting, because getting paint in the detail without gobbing it up takes a bit of handiwork. Overall great product and easy to install as well! We are very pleased.
