This medallion will look great once it’s cleaned up and painted, however there are many, many imperfections that require careful sanding to remove. It would have been nice to know this in advance.Also, the first one we ordered arrived poorly packaged and was broken into many pieces. They were great about replacing it but returning it meant a large package had to be transported to UPS which was a bit of a hassle which would have been avoided had the packing been done correctly.

This item is fragile and the manufacturer does not package it properly. Order three times and all three arrived broken.

I’d give five stars because it’s a beautiful medallion but didn’t because of the horrible packaging. I received one and it was broken in multiple places. I sent it back and the next one was worse than the first. Ridiculous. Amazon gave me only one week to return the second one which is unreasonable and I didn’t make it. I ended up keeping it and gluing it together.

received it quickly & withvery good packaging.It was a pleasure painting it.i used wood adhesive only.with a help of a shower curtain tension rod.the tension rod helped me close all side open areas on the ceiling under the medallion.sturdy, beautiful & elegant.Thank you🌹
