This medallion is heavy. It required both glueing and nailing to hold it on the ceiling. Looks good, but is not very thick. It was large enough to fit the new wired location while covering the old wiring. It did not reqiure painting, but could have easily been painted.The next time, I will opt for a lighter medallion that does not require nailing.

Great piece and was what I was looking for. However, upon arrival noted it was rough and required further finishing and paint. I have completed both steps and it works fine. Just be aware if you’re buying this thinking it’s finished nicely it is not.

The shape and design look great, but this is a manually routed product and is not form molded. The product had a rough finish and routing lines were clearly visible. This should be sanded smooth before it was primed for shipment. Otherwise, I masked and pained mine to compliment a light fixture and to cover an unfinished portion of the ceiling above a light
