When opening my grandbaby's gift🎁 from Auntie Phia, I cut ✂️ the microphone 🎤 cord and what a change from joyful to pitiful was instant. Before I let the disappointment ruin the moment...Granna picked up her phone and went straight to the Amazon app...problem solved and we now have a spare to ride with.👍🏾😊

I bought this as a Christmas gift. Right out of the box, the microphone didn't work. We tried turning it off, on, demo mode, etc. Nothing. My daughter was still amused by the Barbie songs, but I paid 30.99 for this and it should have a working mic. Normally Amazon's return policy is easy, but this is one of those companies that does NOT make it easy. I can't return via Whole Foods or the Amazon hub. I have to mail it back through UPS (presumably paying shipping) or contact the seller. So, I contacted the seller. They want me to jump through a bunch of hoops because it is under warranty. I think I will have to mail it back to them for repairs? Just... what a huge hassle for a cheap plastic toy. Is there no quality control? And why do I have a bunch of extra chores to do when their product doesn't work? Don't bother buying this here. If you can find it elsewhere (Target, etc.), do that in case it breaks. My 3 year old daughter does like the toy.

This boom box is a great gift to consider for a child who loves to sing and also loves all things Barbie! The boom box arrived in original packaging, Barbie Brand, so if you are trying to keep this to give as a gift, be sure to be on the lookout for it, as mine did not arrive in a standard Amazon box. The boombox is a nice size, has clear sound, and the microphone works great. There are a limited number of songs to choose from to sing to, but kids can have fun by just singing whatever they please with the easy-to-hold microphone. The boom box comes with batteries already included, and it also lights up. My only complaint is I wish it would connect via Bluetooth so I could have the option to play more songs on it for karaoke. It is still a fun toy to consider, and your child will be entertained by it and everything it offers. Five stars.

Got this for my daughter's birthday. Its really nice right out of the box and I love that it came with batteries already. You can play the music that comes on it or even do karaoke with it. The sound quality wasnt to bad for kids. My daughter likes it

This has a decent speaker and includes some Barbie music to sing along to. It can also work as a standalone microphone. The mic audio quality is ok and the bag portion can light up. It has a hook on the back that helps hold the mic to prevent tangling. This is an official Barbie product and great for a gift. It would be better if it could also connect to an external device.

There are limited songs to choose from. The light effect is pretty cool in the dark. Honestly, Kids gets bored with the "sing along" after like 10 minutes, HOWEVER, they LOVE the mic + speaker combo just so they can use it as megaphone! Definitely gift able for kids who loves Barbie, would not say it has good value for non barbie lover as you seemly paying more for the name.
