Used this to replace a faulty Mainstays lid that wouldn't close any longer. It fit perfectly on my 13.2g trashcan as long as you measure properly. The lid opens very smoothly and functions perfectly with motion sense, my only gripe is that the motor to activate the lid is louder than my previous one. It's a jarring mechanical gear but other than that it works as intended.

This is a very well made automatic lid for the kitchen trash can. The motion sensor has just the perfect sensitivity to only open when you want it to open. The lid opens and closes quickly, smoothly, and silently. It is very functional, and a very good investment. And it maintains the storage of your trash can.

This is a nice lid unfortunately it doesn't fit my trash can perfectly but still able to use. I the sensor at times is not the best there has been a couple times I had to very slowly wavemy hand over it to open but other than that it works.

Our original sensor lid decided to give up on life mid-kitchen duty, and let me tell you—once you’ve had a touchless trash can, going back to lifting a lid feels barbaric. This replacement lid fit perfectly, matched the can like a long-lost twin, and brought our kitchen trash situation back to its high-tech glory.Easy to install, works like new, and looks just as sleek as the original. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d ever feel this satisfied replacing a trash can lid, but here we are.

Unfortunately this did not end up fitting my trash can. It was off by an inch. But it wouldn’t matter because it won’t even work. Tried 2 different sets of batteries and still nothing. Such a shame since it’s made of sturdy metal material and would have made cleaning up easier due to the motion sensor function which would make it more functional. Wish it fit and worked!

This is a branded Eko mirage deluxe lid. Everything works well on it. The materials feel sturdy. It takes AA batteries. If you want to fit this lid on another base good luck. I wanted to use this and my old lid on an unbranded bin. I had a really hard time finding a bin to fit the extra lid. This lid works great, looks good, and I have no complaints.

This replacement lid for the EKO Deluxe Mirage-T sensor trash can offers some genuinely nice features. The sensor operation is responsive, and the lid itself closes very quietly, which is a definite plus in a kitchen or office environment. A smart addition is the integrated compartment designed to hold a carbon filter, helping to absorb odors effectively. The build quality of the lid feels substantial.However, the significant drawback lies not with the lid's performance, which is quite good, but with the cost of the compatible trash cans (Mirage-T EK9278T & Deluxe Mirage-T EK9378T) it is specifically designed for. They are priced prohibitively high for what is, at its core, a trash receptacle. It's frustrating to have a quality lid but be expected to pay upwards of $100 for the base can. This makes finding a suitable, affordable can a challenge. While the lid sort of fits a standard 12-gallon can, achieving a perfect fit without the expensive original base is difficult for those unwilling to pay premium prices for a trash can. For many, a trash can base should ideally be in the $20-$30 range, making the required bases for this lid a major deterrent.Regarding power, the lid works reliably with batteries. It's worth noting the manual's advice against using rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries due to voltage drop; however, using quality rechargeable lithium batteries, which maintain a stable 1.5 volts until depleted, works well and provides a good power source for the sensor mechanism.Overall, the EKO replacement lid is a well-performing, feature-rich component with quiet operation and odor control potential. Its effectiveness is unfortunately overshadowed by the unreasonable cost of the trash cans it is intended to pair with, creating a dilemma for users seeking value.

I have been using a motion sensor trash can for years now and they always had the same size lid. Therefore, I figured it they were universal sized but I was wrong so make sure you measure first. Unfortunately, I also waited to long so stuck with it, but will try to find a trash can to go with it. It does work as advertised so all good there. It feels like it is made well and it looks good too. If only it fit the can that I have, lol
