I am 5'9" 185 lbs and the extra large fit very well: roomy without being baggy. They are cute, longer in the back so for those of us who carry our weight in our derrieres there is good coverage. The elastic waist is a little tight for me, thus reducing the crotch length, but I stretch them when not wearing hoping they will ease up.

So soft! The material is the best. Every wash makes them softer. The fit is spot on. Pockets! I have nothing bad to say!

There's a somewhat ambiguous zone between some pajama shorts and some regular casual athletic shorts. I feel these shorts, in solid colors, are somewhere in that zone. I ordered the solid "army green" color and I believe all the solid colors can be used as regular shorts. Some of the patterns (like moon and stars) make these look much more like pajama shorts, obviously. I've actually used these as both pajama shorts and regular everyday shorts. I have worn these to bed, and this morning I wore these on my usual two-mile walk through the neighborhood. Very comfortable. Very nice. No complaints at all. The fabric is definitely on the thinner side, but to me these are good athleisure shorts and look more like athletic shorts than pajama shorts (in the solid colors). Definitely casual and not refined, so I wouldn't wear these out except for exercise, short errand runs, etc. Definitely a good pair of casual nice-weather shorts.Sizing is true and the sizing chart is pretty accurate. I'm a size medium and these fit great in size medium. I would recommend ordering your usual size.Pockets are large enough to hold a fairly big cell phone, which is very convenient if you choose to use these outside the house.I'm really considering ordering the pink and navy colors since the current sale price of around $11 is pretty amazing. I mean, even the regular $14.99 is a good deal.

The fit is perfect! So soft and comfortable with nice deep pockets. Material isn't thin and doesn't stretch out. It allows you to move, non binding at all. Great to run to the store in too.
