The new Kinetic combo units are part of the EK Quantum Line of products and come with sophisticated addressable D-RGB lighting implementation and a genuine D5 pump! The reservoir is equipped with a total of six G1/4" ports so that users can choose the most optimal setup for their liquid cooling loops. The top features three G1/4" ports, one of which has a pre-installed nickel-plated brass internal tube which helps to prevent the splashing of the coolant inside the reservoir if the top is to be used as an inlet. The 60mm diameter tube is made of high-quality acrylic material just like the reservoir bottom and top while the sealing is performed by a quality EPDM o-ring. The integrated addressable D-RGB is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. This reservoir can be easily upgraded with longer acrylic tubes used by EK-RES X3 series reservoirs. Don't get me wrong.. It's a gorgeous setup but very expensive. I have a 7 year old 500 liter per hr. EK pump/res combo that still functions but wanted a better flow rate for my new build. These D5 pumps are 3x as powerful. Very noticeable difference! This clears out air bubbles with ease where as before I would have to tilt my case around and help the pump out. I feel like with anything EK, you end up paying for looks as much as quality. But my whole loop is EK so godda do it!

If you're looking for a high-quality liquid-cooling pump at a decent price, you've found it! I've been running it for 6 months and it has performed flawlessly. It is pretty big and may not fit in some mid-tower cases so check your measurements carefully if you need it to fit inside your case. It is very quiet. I have to look for the movement of liquid in the reservoir to even know that it is running. Installation wasn't too difficult. You may need to drill some holes in your case for mounting (a template is provided). I feel like it will give me many years of reliable service.

Got this for my first cooling loop build and I'm pretty happy with it. It's very quiet and as you can see from the picture, it's RGB is pretty bright and illuminates the reservoir to the top. This thing is beefier than I was expecting and it's pretty solid and seems well made. There are 3 inlet ports on the top, and 2 inlet ports near the base and one output port. Make sure before you plan your loop that you know which port is the outlet or you'll be making some changes like I did.when filling your loop, just make sure not to run the pump dry. I didn't have this issue, but every video I see on the matter stresses the importance of this. Overall, I am happy with this pump/rez combo from EKWB.

High quality product. Powerful pump that is quiet too. Acrylic is very sturdy, no cracks so far. RGB light is just right. Multiple ports are a bonus. Easily the best overall pump res combo IMO.Update 12/10/20 --- still working great!!
