The design of this snow globe is absolutely adorable, and the polar bear family inside looks beautifully crafted. The glitter swirls nicely when shaken, and the "Born Free" tune is a lovely choice. However, the sound quality is disappointing. Mine has a constant noise in the background, which seems to be an issue with the speaker or the winding mechanism. It takes away from the enjoyment of the music. If you're mainly looking for a decorative piece, it's great, but the sound issue makes it less than perfect.

This item far exceeded my expectations in appearance and sound. Looks well made - hopefully it will last a while. My grandson wanted a snow globe, a polar bear acquarium, and a music box for his birthday. I found none of those things. Then I saw this - all 3 in one! The last one too!

My son collects polar bears AND snow globes; this was a perfect gift. The sculptural work on the base was as beautiful as the figures inside. Music choice was great.
