I received the pump in excellent condition and quickly. I have used many pumps over the years in steel mills that pump out pits of the grossest stuff you can imagine, so I have a bit of experience. This is a very nice compact pump, it worked just as I thought it would pumping out the water of an old cistern. I have used it twice, the first time just to pump out, the second to wash down the walls and floor. It pumped very well when emptying the cistern and kept up with water going into the tank as it was washed. If you have never used a pump before this is as easy as it gets to operate, everything you need to know the instructions will give you in about two minutes.

These are great little pumps. I've had several over the years (they only died because of my errors). As long as they are in water they will run endlessly.
