Would have preferred to give no star. Didnt work. Bought as gift, by the time I gave it to my nephew the return option expired. Took it to repair shop, they said it was not able to be fixed.

This is a bit overpriced compared to some basses I have purchased and the one I received needed to have the bridge moved back about 1/2" to allow for proper intonation. Delivery time was reasonable.

Works for rock band class... Had to tape a bit of screw over on the head but does the job. Holds a tuning.

Pretty cool bass! I was impressed with the quality of the instrument and sound. It is not a toy! I ran the bass through my amp and it has a nice fat sound and nice feel to the fingerboard. If you have a youngster you'd like to get started this is the bass. My 5 year old son loves it and should be able to use it for a long time before going to a larger scale bass.

Got my bass quick. It intonates good enough to gig and the action is passable. It fits behind the seat in my mini-truck so I always have a bass when I need one. Been playing 40 years and gigging 20 years. Love my purty baby blue mini bass!!

Very impressed with this bass for the money. Great instrument for a beginner with small hands - and this bass is pretty light weight. Typically import instruments have poor workmanship on the fret work, but this bass is pretty good. Action and intonation was pretty good right out of the box. Sounds good plugged in, no scratchy pots on the controls. I've been playing for 25 years and my guitars and basses are too big for my kids to play, but this bass is PERFECT. And it plays very well. The only thing I would like to see is maybe a variety of colors - red or pink (for the girls). I will buy a few of these basses and donate them to my local non-profit music organization. Great value..

This is a super little guitar, it has a few issues or I would have rated it 5 stars . It has a tendency to buzz a little playing the E string at the F thru A frets but I think that is because of the scale. I raised the E string at the bridge but I feel that trying to raise the string at the nut would make it difficult to play for a youngster so I haven't done it. I would say that this is a 1/4 scale bass based on the neck length of my other 3 bass guitars (a full length Fender, a 3/4 SX and a 1/2 Oscar Schmit) but that is an estimate or my best guess. I liked it so well I got a second one. The only other problem was on the first one I bought the pickup cover came unglued from the coil. It wasn't too hard for me to fix but I did have to remove the pickup to reglue it. At the price ($89 when I purchase it) it's well worth the money. It has an adjustable metal truss rod, metal knobs for the volume and pitch adjustments. The pickup has a good and even sound for all 4 strings. The tuning machines are good and it stays in tune relatively well. I feel that both the quality of material and the workmanship that when into the guitar are from good to very good. Like any inexpensive guitar with an adjustable bridge the intonation could use a set up. I am very happy with this guitar and I have seen a number of other child size bass guitars that cost more money and that were not as good as this one. Overall this is a great little guitar for a child that wants to learn to play the bass and I would highly recommend it.
