I hurt my thumb on my right hand and needed an electric can opener. I was excited to give this one a try.I was a bit confused on how to use it initially. The blade sits on the outside of the can, which is unusual. I placed it as shown in the instructions and pressed the button. It started to go around the can, and it seemed promising. When it stopped, it looked like it didn’t cut anything. I tried it again. After closer inspection, I discovered that this opener cuts the whole lid off from the outside. I pulled on the top of the can and the lid came off! Actually, pretty cool.It has worked on most cans, but not all completely. It could be the can and not the opener. Even with a manual can opener, I hit sections that are tough to cut through.I like this opener well enough to keep using it. Time will tell how well it works over time. I’ve used it on five cans so far and it didn’t fully cut one of them, but I was able to pull it back enough to get the contents out. You get a charger cord and a replacement blade.

This can opener does what it is suppose to. I have had one similar to this before but it did not last, and I think it was because of this weird sound that it makes and I thought that it was normal since it is electronic. But this can opener does not make any weird noises apart from what it should. It has a nice wavy design on the top. The quality is well made and durable.

YES! Life just got a little easier. I've had at least one other can opener similar to this that I loved when I got it to work, but it didn't make it past the first year. This bad boy is on the heavier side and seems like it's not going to be failing any time soon. Does a great job! I'm pretty excited to add this to the arsenal of cooking utensils and I'm loving how compact this is.

This item does not meet my expectations at all. Used this the first night when shipped to me and it does not work. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This electric safety can opener is a solid choice for ease of use and safety. It opens cans without leaving a sharp edge, which is a big plus. The operation is simple with just the press of a button, though it does pop up at an angle while going around the can, which feels a little odd. Unlike my old can opener, this one doesn’t automatically stop—it requires you to press the button to stop it when it’s done. Alternatively, you can let it run for more than one round, and it should auto shut off after about 90 seconds. Once stopped, it reverses to safely detach the lid, which is a nice touch. I appreciate that it's rechargeable and comes with a replacement blade, which should extend its lifespan compared to other can openers. Overall, it's a practical and durable option.

Had High hopes for this but I can't figure out how to get this to work. I have followed directions and then some and still can't get this to work.

This rechargeable electric can opener is of an unusual design. It charges via USB-C and promises the ability to open up to 50 cans on a charge. It comes with a charging cable and a spare bearing. It's a bit tricky to use since you can't really see what you're doing when connecting the opener to a can. You have to put the lip of your can into the groove between the gear and the bearing with the body of the opener over the can, then press the button on top. It's a lot louder than I expected! It cuts the edge of the can but it does not auto-stop once it's done, you have to press the button again to stop it. Once done, you have to align the can lid to the slot on the other end of the opener, with the magnet on the can lid, then pry the top off. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it, but it does work, and the can is open with a clean, straight cut.It's billed as a tool "for seniors" but many of the seniors I know would only squint at the tiny instructions, and would certainly have considerable trouble with the counter-intuitive nature of its operation. It is compact and it does open cans but I don't think this is for everyone.

Good quality and easy to use rechargeable electric can opener. It works great, removing the entire lid without leaving a sharp edge on the can. Relatively quick charging with a USB C cable. Cleans up quick and seems durable. Decent value for the money. I think they could make the instructions larger so it would be easier to see. After all, they are marketing this to seniors and a way to make their life better. Start with instructions that can be seen and understood.
