This is NOT a WARMER and cooler asthe item listing implies. It is ONLY a COOLER.Bought this specifically to keep food hot in the car, but sinceit only chills food I have returned it. I have given it 3 stars because it seems to be a quality item, well-made, a good size and deliveredvery quickly. However, it is not accurately described and lost 2 stars for that reason.

It does exactly what you need it to. can store a lot of stuff and is made extremely well and has excellent insulation considering that it is a sold shell design. The external power pack is quite useful to start the cooling process while you are packing it outside of the car. Just be aware that the cooler is a "peltier" type, so by design it is extremely power inefficient and draws a lot of power compared to the cooling ability that it actually has.

I tried it out as soon as it arrived, the AC to DC converter got hot and quit working. The DC plug does work in the truck for road trips. That’s the only reason I gave it a two rather than a zero. I would not recommend this product.

This cooler saved us when we were stuck in the mother of all traffic jams in 110+ degree weather. A simple 7 hour drive turned into a 17 hours nightmare when a semi loaded with Li-Ion batteries caught fire on I-15.The cooler does produce sound when working. Since it is not a fridge, it won’t cool warm drinks effectively, but it works well for pre-cooled drinks. Very easy to carry, can be plugged into the regular 120V outlet as well (it comes with an inverter). The first unit we received had a defective shoulder pad, but Amazon customer service was very quick with replacing it.

I was do excited about this cooler. I was really happy with how much food it holds. It cools down quickly. I took it camping where if wax plugged into my truck during the drive and then a campsite outlet. It lasted through the night and then stopped working during the next afternoon. I tried everything to get it going, no luck. I don’t think it handles moisture near the compressor and the compressor shouldn’t be blocked. But the compressor is on the back side so how to pack a cooler without blocking the compressor and keeping it bone dry it’s not a very functional cooler for me. I sent it back!

We put this cooler bag to the test. We have run it 75+hours on a road trip and it still chilling! The only thing I don’t like is the adaptor. Had to take the connections because they fell out easily after a few days… it was a road trip, so I give it a little credit… Otherwise, it was the perfect option for our road trip.

This is a great cooler. It is virtually silent. At 2 ft away I have to strain to hear it so it does not produce any noise disturbance at all. The inside is spacious and well lined to contain any liquid spills. My concern was leaving it on in the car without the engine running and how long would my battery last. The typical car battery is 60 amp hours. This cooler draws 5 amps at 12 volts which is 60 watts. Doing the math, the typical battery would last about 12 hours before it was FULLY drained but it will probably be drained so much that your car wouldn't start long before the 12 hours. That is not an issue as long as the engine is running but I wouldn't recommend leaving it on in the car without being concerned about being able to start my car. THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL DOES STATE DO NOT RUN THE COOLER WITH THE ENGINE OFF.This is an update to the initial review. The.AC power supply blew out within 24 hours. It runs very hot while in use and the power supply only outputs 60 watts which is exactly what the cooler requires. That is not good electrical design. Power supplies are usually designed where they can operate at a maximum of 80% of full load. The Amazon customer rep did allow me to choose another power supply and gave me credit for it. I chose a 96 watt instead of the original 60 w power supply and that should give enough headroom for this power supply not to burn out. Hardly enough, the 96 w power supply was cheaper than the 60 w.I am very pleased with it and would definitely buy it again.

Works so well and it doesn't take long at all to cool down or heat up. It's a great size, looks like it will fit alot of food and beverages. When it is zipped closed you can barely hear the fan inside. It's a good size for the vehicle too doesn't seem like it will take up too much room. This will also be perfect in our boat.

I bought this to keep in my car so we didn’t have to worry about things melting in this hot summer heat. It’s really quiet, I can’t hear it when I’m driving. We’ve only used it once to protect some chocolate bars on the way home from the store. I didn’t zip the whole thing up, but the chocolate bars were still cold when we got them home.

I bought this a few days before a 3-week long solo road trip. It's not a refrigerator but it keeps food & drinks cool and fresh. I put it on the floor of the passenger seat so I could easily reach things. It came with 3 DC cords that are long enough to run from a DC plug in the back seat up to the cooler in the front so I could use the front outlets for my phone, etc. It ran quietly for long hours of driving. It also comes with an AC outlet adaptor so I took it into my hotel rooms each night and plugged it in. I was able to store sandwiches, leftovers from meals, water, sodas, snacks, etc. in it for the entire trip with no issues. I have been very happy with this item.

It sturdy and well made. I was concerned about the low noise it made. In the car I couldn't hear it. I was disappointed that it didn't get cold like ice does. We like our pop ice cold and it didn't get there.
