Just installed a little under an acre of 4 strands worth of this stuff last weekend for my mare’s summer pasture, and I’m pretty impressed. For the price, it’s insane. I fenced the entire section for under 100 bucks.I can’t speak on durability yet, but I put 100 ft lbs of torque on my tensioners and it’s tolerated it great. Holds tension super well, has been carrying voltage no problem, and looks very neat and tidy and professional compared to the yellow stuff at similar price points. My dad’s calling it poor man’s high tensile. It did stretch some while tensioning, but I did tie off my ends instead of using crimps, so that’s expected. All in all, I’m impressed. We’ll see how it holds up, but for the price, if it lasts 3 months I’ll be a happy girl.

Works great with minimal stretch. Used for cattle fencing, carries 8,000 volts from 0.9 joule 1,000 yards worth of fence.

I really like this polywire. I use a lot of hotwire on our place to keep goats and dogs in. I have tried many of the cheaper brands at Tractor Supply, etc. They do not last and some batches break within the first few months. This has a higher break point. I have some polywire that is higher end, about double the price of this brand, that has lasted years. But I just can't afford to buy it. So I have looked for cheaper alternatives. This is my current go-to. I like the thickness of it as it's more visible. I also like being able to buy the larger spools.

It is good fencing string. And there is a lot of it.

The white can be seen better than the other colored fence wires, but I was hoping it was a little thicker than it was. The plastics that are used become brittle and start freying after a year or so. We'll see how well this one holds up.

I did use in between the wider electric tape for strength and view. I recommend checking fences often.
