Yep total junk. 6 brand new duracells and it would barely power on much less cut anything. Also as mentioned before no instructions are included though the package says to read instructions before operating

This product is sold by many sellers with prices ranging from $29.99 to $39.99. All have the same thing in common... Nothing but 1 star reviews. This product is in my opinion way over priced for what it is even at its cheapest price. It is cheaply made and under powered. The package says read instructions inside before use but no instructions are included. The battery compartment is hard to remove, once you finally figure out where it is. The blades are way too short for doing anything but cutting up small fruits and vegetables, but even those it does not do a good job at. The knife works on 6 AAA batteries and you will need good quality ones to get any amount of run time. This brings the overall price of the unit up considerably as good batteries aren't cheap. Had this incorporated a rechargeable battery and a longer blade for the same price it may have warranted 2 or 3 stars. It may then have been ok for a bread cutter. This basically is a bad dollar store product that I can not recommend to anyone.

extremely underpowered, the blades feel cheap and aren't long enough, and requires 6 AA batteries instead of just being rechargeable. would not recommend.
