Just what I was looking for to place on my Oru (foldable) kayak. I've put this battery/motor to the test in multi-day kayak trips in the Everglades and it has performed well - really good battery life and decent power for my purposes (a little help against the current or respite from paddling). The unit, motor, and cord is sturdy and has withstood intense use. The only thing I wish it had was a display to show the percentage of battery life. But given it's half the cost of some other named brands, I'll take this any day. Most of all, the customer service has been excellent! When we lost our remote (our fault) we called the company. I received a call back in minutes and new remotes were shipped to us at no cost that same week! Amazing. If you are looking to put the motor on a kayak like mine, here is a photo. (I just purchased a separate fin box, glued it on, and can easily slip the motor on/off.)

Amazing performance with a long lasting battery! Impressed with how fast it goes in top speed and can go all day in first speed. Top notch customer service from a USA based family owned business!

Love the item works great on kayak. My only problem is I cannot figure out how to get a hold of the business. Would love to buy an extra battery if anybody knows an email for this company so I can reach out for an extra battery.

This thing exceeds my expectation.I was looking at Bixpy and thought the price is too steep, this is less than half the price but works really really well!The motor is light and strong, the battery is light and waterproof, remote is also water proof.Makes isup way more fun!

So I am giving this a 4 and not a 5 because out of the box this didn’t not fit my sup or hybrid sup (neither attachment that came with it). My inflatable is made by bote and is call the zeppelin. It is hybrid between kayak and Sup. It uses the same fin attachment as a stand up paddle board.After trying to make an arrangement for a return, there was so much chaos that Amazon refunded me and told me to keep the product or throw it away.I didn’t want to throw it away, felt like that would be a waste, so I decided to design and make a 3D print attachment that would fit my board. After a lot of hours of designing it on the computer and trying to get the screw holes to match up, printing it, and coating it to make it water proof , I was able to finally attach it to my board and the motor itself worked amazing. I’m glad I didn’t have to throw it away. It did take a lot of work for me to make it work with my board but I feel it was a way better choice than throwing it out in the end.
