Misleading advertisement. The instructions say it is not for polishing stone, where as the advertisement says it is.

Well, I'd like to report on how well this worked, but it died before it finished it first polishing cycle.The noise was acceptable for what this thing is and everything seemed alright, but after hours of use it would no longer turn on. Switching it on only created a hum like the motor was getting power, but was unable to turn.

This is a very professional type quality rock tumbler. This is a large size, not your typical cheap littke tumbler its a good size and able to tumble more rocks than your typical tumbler. Its easy to use and not too loud. It works great, although tumbling process is slower than most people have patience for, the payoff in the end is worth it. Rock tumbling is great to do with kids, but fun for adults too.
