Usefulness: ★★★★★ (5/5)A fun toy that keeps my child engaged and active.Quality: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)The overall build feels cheap. The scope has already detached once, and the "fire" feature (a light effect) is highly unreliable—it only works occasionally, maybe once every few minutes.Value for Price: ★★★★☆ (4/5)Despite the drawbacks, it's a good value for the price—especially for how much enjoyment my son gets from it.Pros:• Automatic fire allows for continuous water play.• Decent water capacity—enough for longer play without constant refills.• Battery life seems good so far (still going strong).• My son had a blast on our morning walk, targeting trashcans, leaves, and signs.• Reliable sound effect.Cons:• Some assembly required out of the box.• The silencer attachment isn't waterproof—which is odd for a water gun.• "Fire" feature is inconsistent and barely functional.• Claimed range is 26 feet, but we only managed up to 20 feet—still respectable.• Appearance is too realistic for a toy. I’d prefer a more playful, clearly non-weapon look.Would I Purchase Again/Recommend?Probably. It would be a blast to have two for a water battle. Despite the quality issues, the fun factor makes it worthwhile.

Charging is inconveinent and it doesnt shoot very far at all. Cheaply made, not worth the money.

The battery lasts a surprisingly long time and it came with two batteries. Out of curiosity we measured just how far it could shoot and we hit 26ft, so it's relatively powerful for what it is. It works perfectly and is pretty durable. The kids have had a blast with it.

This is a fun water gun. My kids have had a blast with this over the last few weeks. It shoots really far and fast, which they think is great. The water reservoir is pretty big, so it can shoot for a while. It is well-made from good materials. The only complaint I have is that the charging is a bit inconvenient, and it stops the fun when you have to stop to charge it. I don't need all of the flashing lights and stuff, but they don't detract either. The only thing I would say might be a down side is that it is kind of big. My kids are older and have large hands, so this hasn't been an issue. Younger kids may not be able to get their hands around the grip an trigger. For anyone looking for a great water gun that can shoot a long way, this is a great option. We've already ordered another one so the kids aren't fighting over this one.

It's too bad you can't get this water pistol right now. It's the best water pistol I've ever had. Shoots 25 feet; Has a large water reservoir; Fire (diode lights), flashes out of the barrel, like a real pistol; And the construction is strong enough for a great many hard core battles.Keep your eye open, maybe it will come back this summer. If it does, buy it, or at least one like it.

As a very senior “Adult kid”, when I first laid eyes upon this Electric Water Gun by BoomCaCa, I absolutely knew that I had to have one!!!I ordered the gray colored version, and was immediately impressed by the overall quality and detail of the mostly plastic components.I liked how the instructions were partially shown on the box that it came in, and generally felt the instructions were clear and well illustrated. The parts are all “snap-together”, although you need to use a small (included) screw driver to remove the right side handle grip to hook-up and install the battery pack. The water pistol also includes a slide-on rail-type “sight”, as well as a circular water reservoir that looks sort of like a “snail drum” magazine that fits into the base of the hand grip. It locks into the base of the handle via friction and two detents for a secure fit.Two separate charging cords are provided…one to charge the main battery that installs in the hand grip, and another charging cord for the LED “silencer” that fits over the muzzle.Once everything is assembled, THE FUN BEGINS!!!This water gun takes the squirt guns that I used decades ago to a whole new level of fun.I love how the receiver rocks back-and-forth like the cyclic of a semi-auto hand gun, but the absolute star of the show is the LED “silencer” that flashes along with the cyclic receiver as the water jet shoots out of the barrel. At nighttime, the effect is very very bright and cool-looking!It’s claimed that the water jet reaches out to 26 feet, although my personal experience is that it’s really about half of that in terms of effective range for decent impact.I’ve also read reviews where some have mentioned about water leaks, although I have not had any leaks whatsoever.Overall, this is just a really fun and techy water pistol. My only caveat would be, if you have kids, please either wrap a strip of dayglow orange tape around the muzzle (or mask off and paint it bright orange), as this water pistol could possibly be mistaken as a real gun in certain situations …some of these electric water pistols come with a orange muzzle cover, but some don’t like the one I received.I would recommend this water pistol for common sense fun around the house…but always safety first!
