Works fine but is super loud! Had to move and use item in basement as the noise was too much for others in the household. And there’s no access to internal moving parts to oil it. Otherwise fun little tool that makes these wonderful yarn cakes!

This yarn baller works great! It's super easy to use and takes just a few minutes to turn a skein of yarn into a convenient ball. I was lucky enough to purchase a used one that was claimed to be "like new" for half price. It turned out to be good as new, and I only wish I had bought one years ago!

Lo tuve que pedir dos veces, pero fue culpa de estafeta (te odio estafeta, si me hicieron devolución en Amazon) y ya esta segunda vez me lo entregó dhl, super bien el producto, la caja era mas grande que la del producto, pero llegó bien, muy facil de instalar y de usar (el intructivo viene en inglés, pero es algo intuitivo por las imágenes), lo pedí rosita

An entire evening was wasted trying to use this thing. I’ve tried and failed to get a good Cake of yarn. Do not waste time and yarn on this electric yarn winder. I unwound and rewound to the point of throwing away one of my skeins of yarn.This would constantly wind the yarn around the lower gear. Spin the yarn flying around the air. When it did work it was sloppy loose and unformed on parts of the cake. Believe me I tried putting the yarn on the floor, in a bowl on the floor, on the table, on my lap, finger on the yarn, feeding yarn through my hand, it would just not work. All those YouTubers out there trying to sell these things are just lying. Need proof look at their background. What do they have in their craft room? Skeins of yarn Not Cakes of yarn. After closer thinking this whole gotta get a yarn winder. Here’s what I realized. The time expended on it could be better spent crocheting. The storage of a cake of yarn is far more cumbersome.

I saw this winder. It was a good price. It easily winds a ball of yarn. It's a flat ball like a cake. The end is easily found. I wanted to undo an afghan that was over half completed. I attached the end and simply wound a ball. I knew that this is what I needed but
