Does it work? Yes. Every time on every connector? No.They only work if you have a straight pull. I was hoping the angled set would be for a side pull. No. Straight line of attack (of the jaws) to the connector only. The are a bit big and brutal. I would be careful if it is a small delicate connector. These are clearly for big heavy duty plugs.Bad? No. Just not as refined as I was expecting.

The plyers set works well in removing tight or hard to reach electrical connectors. The quality is good for the price range with some roughness in the machining, but not enough to be an issue. The pivot joints and jaws are tight and precise with no slop or lateral movement. The teeth are sharp enough to grip the connector and will hold on tight when pulling to disconnect the fitting. The rubber grips work as expected and provide a non slip grip with dry, moist, or wet hands and gloves. These plyers are a great item to have for tough electrical connections that do not want to release and are much better than using small screwdrivers, picks, etc. With the quality and purchase price I feel that the plyers set is a good value and I expected many years of good service and performance.

These work well and save your thumbs.Easy to use and are a good value for sure. They are a little large, which is good and bad. Only an issue when you're trying to fit them in a tight spot, but they're better than nothing in those situation as well.

I got these because I'm working on a lot of engine bay wiring recently. You still have to know your plug pretty well, and where it wants to be pinched. Kinda like people. I like that this set came with a nice carrying case, and included the angled version of the pliers. Between these two it's possible to reach down into a cramed engine bay and disconnect almost everything. These will probably not be good for the large firewall bulkhead connectors and delicate PCM/ECM connectors, and anything that has a cam lock style latch.I'm tempted to use these on spark plug boots as well....
