After the replacement of the electronic throttle body,The vehicle on-board computer must relearn the new throttle plate idle postion.
Otherwise, after repair, the engine may have a wrong/fluctuating idle speed or a “Check engine” light may still appear on the dashboard.
Many applications require a necessary ETB relearn procedure according to each manufacturer.Some vehicles may have a relearn option with the scan tool.
Therefore, it is recommended to install by professional technicians.

Took about 10 minutes to swap out. Cleared red lightning bolt warning light that would come and go. Did not come with new rubber ring but mine looked great still so not worried about that.
