About this item

  • Reduces Scale Build-Up: The electronic descaler uses advanced electromagnetic technology to prevent the formation of limescale on pipes and appliances while gradually softening existing deposits. This process maintains beneficial minerals such as calcium and magnesium in the water, providing a healthier, more natural water supply without the need for chemicals
  • Effortless Installation: No plumbing modifications required, simply wrap the coil around your water pipe for an easy, non-invasive setup. This device is compatible with various pipe materials, including PVC, copper, PEX, and stainless steel, making it ideal for almost any home plumbing system
  • Maintenance-Free Design: Unlike traditional water softeners, this descaler requires no salt, filters, or regular upkeep. It reduces scale buildup, extending the lifespan of appliances like water heaters, washing machines, and dishwashers, saving you money on costly repairs, replacements, and maintenance
  • Energy and Cost Savings: By reducing scale accumulation, the descaler improves water heating efficiency, lowering energy consumption and cutting down on utility bills. This is a sustainable, eco-friendly solution compared to chemical-based water treatments
  • Optimized for Hard Water: For water with a hardness level above 0.3 ppm or higher iron content, it’s recommended to pair this descaler with an iron filter or salt-based water softener for optimal results. This ensures comprehensive protection for your entire plumbing system and household appliances, even in challenging water conditions

Does it really work? Electrostatic descaling, I don't know. The kit is very easy to apply. The instructions are simple, done in 10 minutes. Wrapped the wires around water pipe entering the main house, plugged it in. They tell you which direction to wrap, ok. It gives a nice moving light across the box, that's pretty, like electrons at workI researched this. I can't find solid scientific proof that it works. We have very hard water. The product states it doesn't cure that but reduces buildup or scaling on the shower and bath heads. The wires are insulated. You can't feel anything. I asked our plumber he said, "Oh yeah, I've seen ads with pictures of pipes with less buildup.""But does it work?"He shook his head. "Can't hurt."So, we have it going. I haven't noticed any obvious change. Not sure if I ever would. But I give it 4 stars because, for what it is, for those who want this kind of item, the product looks good enough.

We have extraordinarily hard water. When testing for the fish, it was off the scale. The municipality rates it as 180ppm. This is very hard (and expensive) on appliances. I have brand new plumbing in the bathroom and after 1 month of use, I can see the lime already building up. We have a tankless hot water heater; the coil sprang a massive leak a few days ago, flooding the basement. I have no doubt that a root cause is the hard water.I saw these units on Amazon, while looking at reverse osmosis systems. I went online and found 4 studies that indicate that they're quite effective. I don't expect a miracle and I don't expect soft water. I would like the calcium and magnesium to be within an acceptable range. As a biochemist, I understand how this would work. We will have to see what happens. Since I just received the unit yesterday, I will update my review.I think it's important to point out that there are explicit instructions based on water flow direction, so I followed the directions to a "t". I also made sure that where it plugs in, gets constant power. Many of our outlets turn off with the light switch. The installation was easy. I made sure of the direction of each lead, and made sure that they were wound tightly, before plugging in.I will update this in about a month.

I am reviewing this only on the installation as it can take months to notice any difference with these electronic descaler devices. Additionally, there are numerous things online saying they are a complete scam and you need an actual water softener. Either way, I installed this just after my water meter that is attached to the main line into my house in the basement utility closet. It was very easy to install using the included instructions. Just make sure you wrap one wire overhand and one wire underhand. I will update this review in the future on if it seems to help with buildup.

The product appears to be well made. Installation was easy. I've heard differing opinions by plumbers on the effectiveness of these devices. Time will tell. Based on the perceived product quality, low price, and easy installation, I give it 5 stars.

Definitely softens water but doesn't work quite as well as an actual water softening system. Needs to be mounted indoors to make sure that your water intake pipe is inside and close to a power outlet.

This is my preliminary review of this product. I will update this review after 30+ days of use. Very easy to install (I installed over the 3/4" water line that comes into my house. I have high calcium water so I really hope this works as well as it is hyped up to be.
