My review is based around the current selling price of £25.99Summary:I always include the current price as reference point as value for money. So please bear this in mind when you look at the stars I have given vs price point. No controller board is included so bear this in mind - it might not be the complete kit you are after. As an additional it this is pretty good, including some sensors, a power supply module and plenty of jumper leads. Allows you to develop and test a project before getting the soldering iron out.

This Magaopi electronics kit is a real treasure trove of components.While I'm no stranger to soldering irons - I must admit most of my electronics work has been with fixing broken things. I have a Pi 3 and a couple of Picos - but the hardware projects I've done in the past have been for specific projects based on tutorials from other people. I've known what they do - not how they do it!This kit is perfect for learning. I love writing embedded code but now I have the opportunity to build what I'm controlling. There's so many helpful resources online too. I can basically marry up what resources I have in the kit with a project's requirements and just "have a go".Gone are the days when you could just pop into your high street electronics store and the only way I've bought components in the past has been in multipacks - so the £28.99 price tag on this seems more than reasonable.

For being such a small and inexpensive kit; this has a nice selection of components(ICs, resistors, capacitors, LED,s etc), hardware(screws/risers), jumper wires, tools(tweezers, screwdriver), and assembled PCBs (sensors, reloats, voltage regulator, etc).Since almost everyone has a drawer full of old USB-A to USB-B cables, it was an odd choice for inclusion in this kit since none of the included components require a USB-B connector. I suppose the listed "Arduino" target audience could use it for connecting a programmer.Overall I think this makes a good addition to my component stock.

I'm always on the look out for electronics kits that give me spare parts for different projects and this one works well. The jumper wires, buttons, breadboard, and power supply have been working great. The other components look to be of decent quality but haven't needed to use them yet. Overall good kit for just starting out or needing extra parts.
