Hat Sizing
To find your hat size, measure around your head about 1/8 inch above your ears and across your mid-forehead, as shown. Use a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string (if using string, mark the two points where it overlaps and measure the length between those points with a ruler). Keep the measuring tool level and snug, but not tight.
Don't worry about being too precise - all our hats feature an adjustable nylon webbing with snap closure for a perfect fit.

This cap seems very thin and floppy, but it holds up decently as a hat and then packs down much more easily than most billed hats like this. I burn easily, especially where my hair parts, so having a packable and breathable hat like this is great to have on hand.

It’s a good hiking cap. It’s light. Dries super fast. Material is breathable and seems resilient. Good UV protection. However, adjusting its size is a cumbersome, frustrating process, and the visor is noticeably short (I guess to reduce a bit of weight?) which is unneeded (weight reduction is minimal) and diminishes the shade it provides, while making the cap look odd.

I unfortunately have a very large head and was worried this hat would fit a bit too small but I was stoked to see that it fits great and feel really comfortable on my head. Build quality and material feel really solid too

This hat is much smaller than it appears in the photos. It looked comically small on my normal sized head. It fit my wife though, so she decided to hang on to it.

This is a decent and light sun hat, light and plenty of venting. The grey color in real life is slightly darker, if they had a more lighter color or off-white that would be even better.

I absolutely LOVE this hat. I have bought countless hats like this one from major well known brands and I prefer this one above the others. The best part is, you can sweat in it and it never stains. I’ve already worn it about 15 times doing high intensity trail runs and hikes and it never stays wet or causes it to discolor in any way. Bought my husband one and we both agreed, we will be getting another one for each of us.

This is a good quality, lightweight ball cap. It easily fit my big head and has a long strap in the back to adjust for many sizes. I got the orange hat and I like the color. It is a rather "soft" orange with a lot of white in it. The picture is accurate. More like a creamsicle orange versus a tangerine orange. The side panels have a "no-see-um" bug proof fine mesh that allows for good airflow.

Perfect hat for hiking & canoeing! Stoked on the lightweight, stretchy material- feels nice on my dome. Also as someone with a smaller head, I appreciate the brim size! If there’s a hat you need to be able to take a beating the Tillak Element is it.
