Found the rack to be pretty simple to assemble. I do however believe the Company could put the instructions on full sheet of paper. The 4x5 postcard sized with mini print and illustrations are barely adequate. Had to use a magnifying glass most of the time. It will do for the weight load I have in mind. Honestly I am not sure of the weight load I would be comfortable with. 500 lbs my be a stretch but I will not be the one to find out. The bar holds for squats should be a little wider and beefier. Anyway, for the average Joe looking for a reasonably priced rack this may be the one.

This bar bell rack is exceptional in that building it took only an hour and it’s built very sturdy with heavy tubing and welded joints powder coated metal . However I detected a few small rust spots due to keeping it out side in my deck where it gets wet I see tiny places the paint did not cover so I’ll have to retouch those places myself. In all I’m very satisfied with my choice and price I paid .

Now this rack isn't some crazy supped up rack you are going to find at your local gym. It's not something you can put crazy amounts of weight on. If you are trying to power lift and max out with weight exceeding 350lbs, this isn't for you. But for a normal person wanting a home gym this works great. So far no issues whatsoever. it's adjustable giving you versatility. I've been consistently using this rack for a year now, loading it with around 200lbs. The only thing is I wish the spotting bar on it was adjustable instead of welded in place. Other than that, this thing does its job. No complaints.

Nuts and bolts don't tighten enough to be sturdy. The nuts have a blue insert that stops you from tightening it as far as you need. This impacts almost every piece going together. Both pieces that hold plates also are threaded on a angle. Lastly the product lists both on the site and in the insrmtructions that they would be glad to assist with any problems, but fail to provide a email or phone number you can contact. Will update review after help is received.

I remember thinking when I bought this that my husband would be upset with me because it was going to be a pain in the butt to put together, it took 15 minutes. Nice sturdy rack, does the job! And the price was right :-)

I am very satisfied with this. Arrived in a sturdy box with straps around it. Pieces individually wrapped and all there. Good seams and welds. Sturdy enough for an amateur lifter although 500 lbs on it would be scary. Easy enough for one person to put together in a little over an hour. Perfect for a budget squat rack. I would recommend it to a friend.

So if you are home gyming it, I assume you aren’t competing for Mr. Olympia or an NFL position. This isn’t for the level. The metal will even bend if you tighten the bolts too tight. Having said that, for most dudes and most all women, this will serve its purpose at a decent price. I recommend taking a pic of the instructions with your phone, then blowing it up so you can actually read them. Tiny slip can’t be read by non-fairies. Solid 4 star-rack unless plans are to roid out and lift super heavy. But for most people, who are keeping under 300lb sets, it’s just fine.
