I did a lot of research to find the best bluetooth hearing protection for woodworking. And despite some of the reviews, this one beat all the others I was looking at.I love the fact that they headphones fold up and come with a really nice case. They feel solid right out of the box. The sound is amazing. Setting up the bluetooth was simple and quick. I was surprised at how comfortable they are even with wearing safety glasses, a hat, and dust mask. These headphones perform really well. I like how they aren't as bulky as some of the other ones on the market. I haven't had to charge them yet to test out the charging speed. But I've already used them several times so far for a few hours at a time and they have been perfect. I highly recommend these. I will continue to buy from Elgin.

Hey Guys Ive ran these and destroyed themover two years. I have to say they were amazing and I got probably 2-3,000 hours out of them. I ordered a second pair because after enough falls off my head they finally broke beyond functionality. Their weak point is definitely the wires sneak through the mainpivot on eachearpiece. However the aound quality is excellent the music aspect of these is out standing and after trying a cheaper set off this website I just re ordered these, the foam is soft and smooth and the ear pro aspect is good but not insane and the music and videoaudiocontrolis amazing. You can pause a youtube video witha tapof the mainbutton and then re start. These are the bomb.I wish they would have run the wire outside the central pivot for durability but oh well these are sleakjust trynot to drop themoff your head.

When you put them on and press down to re-adjust them you can hear the crackling from the speaker it self, without play music. The plastic build is a step up from dollar store toy plastic. I understand that it may be gear towards more of man’s workshop ear covering protecters. Rather than comprehensive head phone where sound quality is key. I think more effort was put into the head phone pads, and adjustable head band.

This is my second pair. My first pair I wore 12 hours a day 6 days a week. They finally just completely broke, after being super glued back together from all the abuse I have put it thru and they still sounded really awesome! I tried the other brands like PROHEAR that were cheaper. The comfort wasn't all that good (of course that's personal preference, everyone has a different size head) The Bluetooth connectivity was spotty within a few feet of my phone and the sound quality was not what I wanted. The hard metal music I listen to sounded like they were whispering. I sent them back. Then I tried the 3M pair that were 3 times more expensive. Over $100. True believer in you get what you pay for. I gave it a shot. Disappointed again. The music was a little louder. But sound quality wasn't any better than the PROHEAR. Connectivity was actually worse.I finally came to my senses and went back and bought another pair of the Elgin hearing protection. The loudness of the music is exactly what I wanted again. Phone calls are great, they fit perfect again. The connectivity is phenomenal. I can walk outside the shop for another 20-30 yards before the connectivity starts cutting out. Battery life is off the charts. I charge them about once a week. Honestly there is nothing wrong with product. Made in America which is even better and price was right in the middle of the other two brands. So in my opinion they are a way better bang for your buck. I was even able to convince other guys in the shop to get a pair. And they love them just as much as I do. I wish they had more than 5 stars.

First of all, these sound like somebody is playing the cellophane on every track you listen to. So they fail at the primary job of head phones.Secondly, there's basically no way to wear safety glasses with these, as they are too tight to your head, and given that they are marketed as job site hearing protection, that seems like a significant ball being dropped. On your toes. Which then makes you jump on one foot as you clutch the other foot in pain. You didn't see the rake that somebody left rake fingers up on the ground a couple of feet away from you. So as you're hopping around in foot pain you hop onto the rake fingers which then propels the rake handle at blistering speed directly into your nose. You fall to the ground in agony, right where somebody left a board with a nail in it. The nail goes straight through your palm at the exact moment a passing pigeon covers your face in a not-quite-as-warm-as-you-would-have-expected creamy white substance. Without knowing what's happened to your hand, you go to wipe the mess off your face, and in doing so inadvertently puncture your cornea with the rusty nail that had previously pierced your hand. You were already blind in one eye from that time you bought this sewing thimbles off Temu. Now you'll never see the smile on your wife's face when you present the crib to her you were building for your unborn child.I returned them.

If you have big ears like me, they are terribly uncomfortable after wearing for several hours.I'd love to return them, but I've been trying to get used to them. Now I can't stand them anymore. Also, the lowest level of volume is too high for some situations, but I think that is my phone, not the headphones. Also, the headband isn't very ergonomic and bites into the top of my head. I'm always trying to find the comfortable sweet spot.Battery life is good, sound is good. The button presses are annoyingly loud while wearing the headphones. The low profile look is no good if you have sizeable ears. I think I am going to give mine away and try another brand.I do like being able to skip songs by pressing and holding the volume up button.I adjust the volume all the time using the headphones button. There is a special button sequence to turn it off while still connected to Bluetooth. That is annoying to figure out. Having a call come in and trying to quickly disconnect isn't intuitive. Long pressing the power button does not turn the headphones off if they are still connected with music playing. Also, plugging in power automatically powers off the headphones and you cannot turn them on while charging. So you cannot monitor the charging status nor listen to music while it is plugged in.

I was so excited to find these. They had every feature I was looking for in a set of Bluetooth hearing protection: USB-C charging, wireless connectivity, and hearing protection. I wanted to like these so badly, and you can tell the company put a lot of thought into the presentation and packaging. They’re poor quality, plain and simple. The plastic is cheap and doesn’t seem like it would survive a fall. The audio quality is really not good. Most importantly, the noise reduction is really poor. I wanted to love these. Hopefully future versions will be better quality. I’d pay twice the price for good quality!

These are slightly more expensive than other equivalent pairs. Most people I know use the 3m worktunes. These are a little slimmer and look better so I wanted to try them out. Overall they are good. The Bluetooth is strong and consistent. I havent had anyone complain about the microphone.Cons- the rubber on the headpiece regularly slips out of place and needs to be reset. I am thinking of gluing it down. The main button is sometimes unresponsive. This has occurred during all functions of the button. On, off, start, stop. Not sure if it's a physical issue with the button or electrical. It hasn't become constant but I am wary of it.As a note these are not noise cancelling, just hearing protection.
