Product Introduction
How to install it?
- Cut an 52mm (2 1/16") hole in the panel and allow a clearance of 70mm (2 3/4”) behind the panel to fit the gauge.
- Put the gauge in the hole.
- Using M4 nut and C type bracket to seal up the gauge.
How to connect wires?
Red wire --- Power Positive.
Black wire --- Fuel Level Signal.
Orange wire (backlight) --- Power Positive.
Blue wire --- Power Negative.
Purple wire --- Set the level signal.
Please note: Fuel level meter can be connected to 12VDC and 24VDC power directly.
Why does fuel level meter not work?
- Fuel level meter cannot work well. Because its signal doesn't match the signal of fuel level sensor.
- Confirm your fuel level meter signal firstly.

I didn't pay close enough attention when selecting this. It is 0-190 ohm and NOT 0-90 ohm (chevy). Instructions were only install and no troubleshooting information was included. I tried to contact manufacturer about a calibration procedure but no reply. I ended up buying a different brand.

Use this on old 1963 Gas tractor to replace original gauge that locked up. Had to cut and make wire connections for all conductors as this new gauge did not use terminals for the connections. Small wires easy to work but existing wire has much thicker and had limited length. When turned on, gauge is different. when 12 vdc hits it, if vibrates then the needle shots up. When tractor started it goes up another 1/8 due to voltage going from 12 -13.5. Accuracy is acceptable. Tank was just over 1/2 when installed. I siphoned out the gas and the gauge did go to E. As long as I know when it is at E I am happy. Gauge likes to stay at E until if figures out where to go. Moves too fast for a gas gauge.

Gages work great, but you must be very careful when drilling the holes for mounting, use 2" hole saw and be precise, there is not much lip on the bezel and the gage will not fit properly in an oversized hole. The wire gage is very small, I had to soldier bullet connectors on because the wire didn't want to hold with just a crimp connector.

I bought this gauge because it specifically stated it was waterproof. Well, it it not.Since installing the gauge about 30 days ago, I have noticed condensation behind the glass. The boat is stored outside, but it is covered. Plus the gauge takes a couple of seconds to come to life after powering up. Not a big deal but it does make a strange buzzing sound when it is waiting to respond.

I installed this in a1990 Buick as a total retrofit from a digital dash it was a simple and fast, the wiring leads furnished are long enough to splice with the wiring harness lighting circuit the backlight on the gauge makes it clear and easy to read.
