How to install it?
- Cut an 85mm (3 3/8") hole in the panel and allow a clearance of 55mm (2 3/16”) behind the panel to fit the gauge.
- Put the gauge in the hole and screw down.
- For the GPS antenna, you should securely fasten it in the flat position, black side upwards, preferably outside (or inside front windscreen) so that it has a clear view of the sky to pick up satellite signal. Connect the antenna cable to socket in the back of the gauge. And do not cut cable.
Why does LCD show Err?
- Turn on supply power after installation.
- Then the meter starts to search for signal and LCD displays "gps---".
- If there is still no GPS signal after 3 minutes. the LCD displays "Err".
GPS Speedometer keeps counting?
- After installation in the first time, GPS speedometer needs to search for signal, that's the reason that LCD counts numbers all the time.
- After getting signal, LCD will come back to 0. It is normal.
How to adjust backlight?
- Power on the power supply first.
- Short press the button to change the backlight color:
backlight changed in sequence: Red (Default)->Green->Blue->White->Yellow->Cyan-->Purple->(Automatic).
- Automatic: Automatically switch the backlight color every 1 minute. Cycle switch according to the above sequence.

Had this installed on my boat – fit perfect in the spot where the old speedometer was very accurate. He ran the antenna up to the front and it picks up very well. It also lets me know how many miles I'm going. Great way to do gas mileage and see how far I've gotten an afternoon. The old speedometer was water pressured. It didn't start register until after 10 mile an hour. This registers from 1 mile an hour up.

I installed it in my older Mack truck to replace the cable drive unit. Connecting was easy and instructions were clear. Love the lighting options and the accuracy.
