Used for Figure skates. You can see that the left side of this photo shows that the elastic has completely stretched out. I have been very careful in using these. No rough use. Just place them as they belong over the blades. The elastic just let go for no apparent reason and now this one does not want to stay on the skate.Maybe just a bad one in what is usually a good product? Don't know. Very disappointing as I selected this one based on all the good reviews.

Nice & absorbent terry cloth blade soakers. Fits well on 9½" figure blades with a bit room to spare.I like that the bottoms are reinforced as that's where the blade will eventually poke through. Probably less of a problem for hockey blades as they have rounded front and back blades vs figure blades with sharp toe picks and an abrupt tail. I don't ever walk with soakers as I only walk with blade guards, but eventually, the blades will still poke through any soaker, so having a reinforced bottom is a big plus.The large pull tab loop is great for pulling them onto the blades. I ordered these soakers for my first pair of ice skates and so far they're working well. They fit easily yet snugly on my skates - I wear a women's size 7 in Jackson skates.

Good construction and durable. Held up to use and washing. My suggestion: Get a size up from what is recommended so there isn't a struggle to fit them on the blades. My kids have a hard time putting these on their skates themselves because the elastic is so tight and difficult to extend.
