You can use this to take a 12V trigger from an audio component and then open or close a circuit. It works well for this application as most 12V relays are designed to pass the 12V onto the circuit or they require additional power. This makes things very simple and effective. You can 3D print an enclosure.This was shipped without any protective material in an Amazon envelope.This used to be assembled in the USA and it is now assembled in China.

This little board has all the parts needed to take the 12vdc trigger output from a receiver or preamp and drive a dry-contact-closure detection circuit in a power sequencer I use (SurgeX SX115).Just added the right wiring and a small case and in 10 minutes, had it working.I can now press an input select button on the remote of the preamp, and via this board, the 12v trigger closes the relay which initiates a power-on sequence for my six amps.Board looks well built and the terminal strips are a welcome way to tie in the wires. Price is right as well.

I have not installed this control board into my control panel yet but don't see any operational difficulties. Shipping and packaging was very good. The only thing I wished is that ELK would offer optional mounting capabilities other than the small hole in the center of the board. In my case, it would be excellent if I could mount it to my 35mm DIN rail. Thank you, Dave
