It's cute, elegant, and the colors are vibrant. Looks exactly like the picture on amazon. It will not fir big items, but smaller things like rings and earrings will. It makes a great gift!

I bought this cute, actually beautiful, peacock box for my mother-in-law for Christmas. She loves peacocks, red birds, and butterflies. This particular pace has wonderful craftsmanship, and the lid to the box is a peacock. The whole thing is gold with Jewel tones on the feathers. It is quite beautiful, and my only complete would be that it is smaller than I it would be. It is fragile, so be careful when you open it, but it is wrapped well. Due to the size, it will not do what I pictured it to do, but it will be perfect for my mother-in-law to takeoff her jewelry at night and put it in this little box by her bed, and it would also be a cute little box for her keep a handful of her hard candies in she is diabetic and has either have something to drink or a piece of candy in her mouth at all times to keep the moisture in her mouth and this would be a cute little gift to store her candy in and no one will ever know the difference .
