I like the aesthetic and the volume of this carafe. Looks nice, holds a decent amount of water without feeling bulky visually or in hand. Not too heavy, but doesn’t feel too fragile either.

Overall, it's a size too big for itself. The cup isn't a good fit on the neck of the bottle and rattles side to side which doesn't give you a sense of comfort when it's sitting on a nightstand as it looks top heavy. It would benefit from a piece of silicone on the neck and base of the bottle. One knock and it's dangerously kicked to the floor. I shouldn't have tossed the box and moved it to my room instead of the guest room so no one else would get their hands on it.

I'm sort of baffled by all the bad reviews, and I'm glad I ordered these despite them, because they're exactly what's described and pictured. I got the pink and the amber, and the colors are lovely, true, but not gaudy. The colors in the photos are true, at least on my computer, and the glass and design feel sturdy. The cups just sit on top and can lean in any direction, but that's generally true with this kind of carafe, unless the cup and or bottle have a shoulder. They feel perfectly secure the ribs line up, and I would carry it without holding on to the glass. I don't know why people thin these seem flimsy. They do not. I would perhaps hand wash them than put them in the dish washer, but I feel fine putting one on my bedside table. It's a rather large carafe, and the cups are big too, but this is clear even just from the photos. They're nice, and I would recommend them.

This is just bad design overall and cheap manufacturing. The carafe and cup are both lightweight and feel somewhat plastic-like. The bas of the carafe was not leveled and would rock back and forth. I ultimately chose to do a return for this item.Color was accurate though. So there’s the upside.
