When connecting through Bluetooth there’s no need for a Wi-Fi connection but this is limiting and prevent you from being able to monitor what’s happening from outside the home. The Wi-Fi connection is really the best way to go. This enables you to use it while you were away from home as well as in the home.The picture quality is decent for a baby monitor it allows you to see during the nighttime as clearly as you can during the day. The included display is 5 inches and has 2KHD capabilities. The monitor has two way sound transmissions so in addition to being able to hear what’s going on in a particular space you can also add your voice. This is very helpful if your baby is fussing and starting to wake up, you can speak to ensue the baby to help coax them back to sleep without actually having to leave your own bed. There is also a lullaby feature that when it detects the baby fussing, it will play a lullaby with the same thought to ease the baby back into restful sleep.In addition to the lullaby sitting there, also several other advanced settings like mask detection. This is intuitive enough to tell if there is something that is covering the babies face or maybe they’ve rolled over.. There are also alerts that will notify you if the baby has left a specific area. some of the more advanced features are breathing detection and sleep, analyst tools. Our child is a little older so we don’t use a lot of these advanced features, but they would be great and provide peace of mindThis baby monitor also has a companion mobile app that will allow you to monitor things when you were away from home. The camera has 360 view so you get a full view of the room and you can control zoom in and zoom out on the camera from the app or monitor. Thankfully, there is no charge for the app and using advance features.Our experience with his monitor has been very pleasing. We’ve been able to monitor what’s going on in the room even when we’re not there rather we are in another part of the house or not at home altogether. We also like the fact that the camera allows you to get a full view of the room and allows zooming capabilities. Although the monitor is great, I felt like it was a bit clunky and it’s execution. I definitely preferred the app on the cell phones and tablets over the actual monitor itself.If you’re looking for a baby monitor, then I think you should consider this one. In addition to helping you monitor a baby it can also help monitoring senior citizens or older children to ensure they’re not getting into things that they should not be.The versatility of this monitor and the advanced features make it well worth the investment. I rate this monitor 9. I found the onscreen navigation to be a bit cumbersome. Maybe I didn’t spend enough time working with it and went straight to the cell phone because that’s what I have in my hand the majority of the day.

Definitely not worth so much! The connection is terrible and there'll be intermittent issues where camera is not viewable from the app and the monitor. You'll keep have to reconnecting.. waste of time!

It took me 2 hours to set it up at the first time, sometimes the minitor can’t connect to the camera, sometimes the app can’t. After resetting many times it finally worked. But the other day when the monitor runs out of the battery and after recharging, it no longer can connect to the camera. Looks like a resetting is needed and I have to setup everything again. Very frustrating.Then I bought another random brand similar Monitor from Amazon and it took only couple minutes to setup. Though it doesn’t have much advanced features as this one, it is way more stable and convient.
