These glue sticks are great to use for projects around the house, for school use and the office. They work great and I use them with having no mess to clean up after use.

They’re here, they work. They’re glue sticks. Nothing to write home about, but fully functional. I’d ordered these and didn’t realize they’d take a month to arrive. That’s my gripe, the shipping time.

Way too many people are reviewing this based on price, based on an error, etc.This is real Elmers glue. It is the non-colored, which many teachers prefer and swear is better than the purple colored sticks. This is fresh, and not dried up at all. Very happy with it, and was not expecting it to be purple based on the images.

6 standard size glue sticks for a respectable cost.I love the glue sticks because it's minimal mess compared to liquid glue. It has a strong hold as long as you let it dry and adhere.

Vine reviewer here giving you my honest hands-on review and inspection of the product you are considering.Honestly, these took way too long to get to me, but three weeks into school and I have them for my classroom. They are as expected. It's a good value, and glue sticks are easy for kids to use. They are not as messy as liquid glue and what gets on the desk wipes up easily.

These are the classic glue sticks! They arrived loose inside a padded envelope. Not a huge deal, but unexpected. The quality is as expected. A decent price for the set of 12.

Clear glue, not purple. Holds well. But I got six glue sticks and for the price of $18. That is just not a good buy

I have no problem with Elmer’s Glue of any sort, and I especially love the glue sticks. But this seller’s Amazon listing is misleading and very overpriced.The heading of the listing says it’s clear glue sticks but the description says “Goes on purple, dries clear”. I was expecting the purple glue sticks but got clear so I guess I can chalk that up to my misunderstanding.Then comes the price point. $17 for 12 clear glue sticks comes out to be over $1.40 per stick. When I searched local retailers and online stores, including Amazon, I found Elmer’s Clear Washable & Elmer’s Purple Washable glue sticks for 25 cents per stick, up to 81 cents per stick. I even found a dozen pack of this exact item for $5. Granted, most of these prices are Back-to-School sales, but even the normal prices don’t come close to this brand.I definitely recommend Elmer’s Glue Sticks. They’re classic, safe products for kids that have withstood decades of classroom art projects. However, I don’t recommend spending $17 for a dozen when you can find them for less than half that elsewhere, even when it isn’t the beginning of the school year.
