This is the perfect replacement battery for my Symbol LS-4279 barcode scanner.Installation was simple, remove the screw from the battery cover, unplug and pull out the spent battery and reverse the process with the new one.These are Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries rather than lithium-ion so make sure you charge it fully before you use it as these can develop memories and stop charging completely.Five stars
