This set when i got it was crammed into its box and i have yet to unbend it from the "squished" shape it was in but theybstill fit around my head pretty comfortably. They just look funny. They amplify sound around me and reduce loud sounds pretty well. They do what thwy need to. I love how they dony need crazy ammounts of batteries. Just 2 AAA batteries. They seem to work well for hearing protection.

I tried these out at the range today. I normally wear Walker's Razor ears, but figured these would be good to have as a backup in my range bag, so I grabbed them from the Vine program.Out of the box, the resemblance is uncanny. They are almost identical to the exterior look of the Walker's I normally wear. The adjustability and fit feel almost identical to my normal ears, and the padding around the ear cups is actually very comfortable. They take two AAA batteries in a compartment on the side of one of the ears, and have a wheel on the opposite side to adjust the volume.They work pretty good. They are definitely not as loud as my walkers, and they are a bit more susceptible to wind noise than my walkers (I do the majority of my shooting at an outdoor range that belongs to my training group where I am a CCL instructor, and get lots of use out of my ears) but all in all, they are decently made ears at a decent price.I you are in the market for noise cancelling ears, and don't want to spend the dough on a pair of Walker's, these will do just fine for you!

They work fine as hearing protection, and are reasonably comfortable, but the audio electronics are pretty bad.The outside audio quality is awful. Like “cheap conference table speakerphone” level. Everything sounds like it’s coming from another room, even your own voice and footsteps. Also, though there *appear* to be microphones on both sides of the headset, everything is mixed together and you get mono audio through the speakers. It feels truly bizarre to hear all the environmental sounds around you without any direction to them, and in such low fidelity. It’s a little disorienting actually.They can also be used as regular headphones, i.e., for music. In this mode, they actually sound really good! The included 3.5mm audio cable did not work, but I had one that did. The external audio input is separate from the microphone inputs, because the volume knob doesn’t seem to do anything and they still work as headphones even with the power off. I would not be surprised if there were two sets of earphone speakers that just happen to share the same housing, but I did not disassemble them to find out.With an audio cable plugged in and the volume turned on, you hear a lot of radio interference, particularly from cell phones. Oh, and the left and right channels are swapped.No batteries are included, despite the manual saying otherwise.So, one star off for the terrible outside audio quality, and one star off for the defective headphone cable. The hearing protection is okay, but if you’re buying electronic earmuffs, you’d kinda expect the electronic part to work.

Replaced a well known brand when the pads wore out. These worked great and were comfortable, even after several hours of use. Happy I decided to try a new brand.

Great quality at a good priceNeeded new ears for the range and saw the ShieldPro line from Emblem Outdoor. Very happy with my purchase. Top quality product that works well and is comfortable. I bought two sets for my wife and me. We were at the range for 3 hours and wore them the entire time. The external sound pickup works well, with the microphones cutting out quickly whenever there is a shot. I always prefer to buy from veteran owned business when prices and quality are comparable to other brands. I would recommend these to anyone looking for electronic hearing protection.
