The XHIKOWAT Emergency Wire, Stainless Steel with Ring Handle is a lot smaller than pictured. It's quite a thin wire that came in the package and it doesn't look like it would cut very well as it's not over sharp or coarse. It would take quite a bit of effort to make a cut in a semi-hard material like a tree branch.

This handy little wire is going straight into my survival kit. It is extremely light weight and you won't even notice it in your pack, but should you need it, you'll be glad to have it.What I really like about it is that the finger loops have thick rubber around them so that you can get a tighter grip and work longer without hurting your fingers. It also allows you to put more pressure on the item you are cutting.
