Very well made, only disappointed by some damage which appeared to have come from the factory.

Have baked several sourdough loaves that turned out well. Much easier to use than Dutch oven.

I've tried all manner of bread pans and cloches. The Emile Henry dome cloche works best. It does take a lot of room in the oven, however. And it is fragile, and weighty when filled with dough. What's more, it is an investment. But I now have two, and I don't expect to ever find a better vessel for baking.

I bought this for a Christmas gift.Although the box was not damaged the first one arrived broken in pieces, I requested a replacement and the new one arrived two days later in perfect condition before I even returned the damaged one!I'm sure my daughter will love baking in this beautiful bread cloche!

Even heat, can have soft or hard crust. Handles high temps well. I started making no-knead bread, one loaf every other day, for the past 3 weeks. It holds up well and still looks brand new, easy to clean. Worth the investment.

The Cloche arrived sooner than anticipated and has been a great asset in my bread baking.

I hesitated to buy it originally because Emile Henry items are expensive but once I received it and checked it out, I don't mind paying what I did because we are talking about a true quality item in every sense of the word. It's so well made & finished with that lovely logo built in. It's a beautiful accent piece I keep on my open shelving .... something of this quality doesn't deserve to be shoved into a cabinet. I also bought the black Emile Henry loaf pan so they are stored together on that shelf & are so pretty. Ok, now you know I think it is a beautiful piece of bakeware but you may prefer to know how it bakes bread. Well, I've baked bread all my life and I was thrilled with the beautiful artisan loaves it produced. I used one Emile Henry recipe but the rest were from King Arthur Flours. The crust was incredibly crisp while the inside of the loaf was tender. It truly does hold in the moisture & produces the quality of bread it claims to. I'm 100% pleased. Easy to clean but remember, its ceramic bakeware so it can break if dropped. I'm loving the results. Very professional looking. Awesome product.

I make artisanal breads where I preheat the cloche in the oven bring it out, transfer the proven dough, plop it back in the oven and let the magic happen. Technically you can do this with dutch ovens, and I started that way, but the dutch oven, even with parchment, tended to burn the bottom. I got the cloche to solve that problem. Now I get beautiful crispy loaves, the bottom does not scorch. Its like having a miniature bread oven.It is made of ceramic, so it cannot be abused and you should not temperature shock it. A little adult caution is all you need. I freaking love it.

Buen producto. Buen diseño y elección de color. Instrucciones fáciles de seguir para el panadero principiante. Un buen pan por primera vez. Definitivamente lo recomendaría.
