I bought this 15”8ohm speaker for an old stripped out Crate cabinet that was in the basement. The enclosure is vented ,and around 4-5cuft. I’m driving the speaker with an Acoustic 300watt 4ohm amp and it sounds great for the money with plenty of thump !!! It’s always fun to bring equipment back to life on a budget !!!

This driver is superbly-well constructed. The stamped-steel spider is precisely made, with no flashing or cheap thin portions. The cone is stiff and made of quality materials. The magnet is immense and the voice coil is large, so this unit can soak up high power. It comes supremely-well-packed and in pristine condition. I placed this in an older Fender combo cabinet. I also replaced the amp section with a modern Dynabass head. It sounds fantastic.

Good speaker for the price. I put this eminence bp15 in a home made bass guitar cab and it bumps pretty good. Only down side is that the week after I ordered it, it dropped in price by $30. At the price point I would definitely recommend it.

Just what my Ampeg B-115 needed to keep it going. Found out the original speaker was fine but this was a step up. Holding up well in practice and small venues.

Wrong speaker reviews are listed! I wanted reviews on the Eminence Legend-BP1525 15" Bass Guitar Speaker, 350 Watts at 8 Ohms. Most if not all reviews on this item are for a different speaker! 😠

I bought this 15 for a 20+ year old GK cab with a blown driver. Whatever was in the cab before had more midrange growl, but it wasn't as smooth as the BP1525. The mids can be dialed back in with the right EQ although they won't sound as natural.The tradeoff is that this speaker emphasizes low mids with a good balance of subs. giving it a warmer sound.In the product literature, it mentions the speaker being "at home in a sealed enclosures" where you see this description mentioned nowhere else in their catalog, but in my ported GK, it sounds very good and I don't know what would be gained by going sealed.However you look at it, this is a very good sounding speaker at any price. It helps that the price is affordable compared to many other choices.
