I had to replace or current Vent Free Heater and was told by the propane repairman that Empire was the best brand and one he didn't see a lot of problem with it. What I like compare to the one I replaced is you can adjust the level of the flame from low heat to high heat and its still thermostatically controlled. Works great in heating up around 400 sq feet. It probably could do more, but we only use it to heat a room without heating the entire house.

I never got this to work properly. Flame kept going out. Seller (247Grills) tried to help but still would not work properly. Easy refund from seller but I did not get a return mailing label and had to pay for the return shipping myself.I bought another heater (BlueGrass) and no problem with it.

I had to return .the flame would only stay on just a few seconds, I did not get a return label, I had to pay for return shipping ,$72.00, next time I’m going to start reading comments, seem like someone else had the same problem. We got another one at Lowe’s works great. A lot cheaper, was told that we have a better heater, the bricks heats up, no flames showing, don’t have money in account yet , they said 5 to 7 working days,
