All my old barrel swabs we breaking and getting old after about a decade, and I got these to replace them and wow they do the job well. I use the straight one for at-home maintenance of my barrel and the bending one for on the field. Empire killed it with this, although I can't imagine this was hard to do considering what it is.

All barrel swabs work about the same, this one does a good job and cleans up quite easily by rinsing in water. The long swab is handy in the pit area before going out to play because it has a longer cleaning area and does a better job.

Nice buy as you get two. A field unit and a shop use one. Nice and sturdy and will provide years or problem free use.

Only used one so far, but it cleaned up great, and cleans my barrels great. I previously had another model that I think I paid $8.00 for just one, and I only managed to use and clean it a few times before it unraveled. I'll try to remember to get back on with an update after I have used them more. But if it lasts only as good as the other than this is still a win as I paid only $2.00 more for twice as many squeegees.

Great Barrel Maid and Squeege combo can't complain for what I bought it for. Off course only downfall is that you can't really clean well on a live game. You have to clean it when your done.

You get what you pay for in this case. The swabs are okay quality, and do shed a bit of fabric as you use and clean the swabs. In my case, the flexible swab did not even see any use since I kept it in my swab pocket on my pants. The time I did pull it out to use, the glue had failed on one end so half of the swab remained in my barrel in the middle of a game. The straight swab has developed a bow in it and I'm unsure how this would have happened as I did not keep it in a bag where something could rest on top of it. For the price, the swabs are perfect for very light use, but they have very limited life spans if used moderately.

Works well. Gets the paint off quickly. It isnt the best one available, but for the price it isnt bad. Alot of these seem to break around the rubber part that connects the 2 sides. This one has held up pretty well. Its gotten me through more than one battle.
