Compré esta versión para mi 16 pro y a diferencia de la versión slim pues esta es mucho para uso rudo, con más calidad y resistencia para el tipo de trabajo (arquitectura) a veces estoy en obras que me exigen una funda con clip para sacar rápido el teléfono y a la vez si se me llega a caer ahí cosa que ya ha pasado, pues me aguanta muy bien los golpes y no se me ha rayado ni con las caídas! En resumen si quieres una funda que te dure a largo plazo, esta es una excelente opción si no quieres estar cambiando a cada rato las fundas baratas y tampoco está exagerada de gruesa, en la mano se siente perfecta! Recomiendo ampliamente un buen cristal para proteger cámaras y pantalla!

I was going back and forth with comparing to Otterbox cases (which I have used for the past 4 years). This seems to have most of what I want in a rugged case. There is no big cutout at the camera button exposing the screen to potential damage if dropped (which the current Otterbox iPhone 16 cases all have!). The only issue I have with the Rebel case is the camera button access hole seems a little too small. It could have been made a little larger for bigger fingers. It took me a couple of minutes to find the best way to operate the camera button, so it’s not all that bad. Plus, if you’re not a pro photographer, then you’ll probably continue to mostly use the camera onscreen controls: no camera shake that way when pressing the shutter button.I’m buying a second Encased Rebel case with holster for backup. I’ve used Encased holsters for the last 4 years also, holding the Otterbox Defender Pro XT case. The holster top clip breaks on me after about 6-9 months, but at $20/holster and the convenience of a holster, I took it in stride and always had a spare holster at the ready.I’m hooked on these holsters now. I have always used holsters with all of my iPhone. Never any damage and the phone is in excellent shape whenever I trade-in the phone.

My top clip broke like many others have reported and shown with pictures in their reviews. Lasted six months since I bought it new before failing. $30 for that is too much. $6.99 would be the better "throw away" price point for what effectively is a "consumable" item it seems....

Magnetic force is strong on this case, stronger than Otterbox I find.The only complaint I have is that the camera and overall rim/bumper is not deep enough and I have concern for damage when drop flat.Overall happy with the case.Update after a month+ of use.Upgrading it to 5-star because I can’t complaint anything about it. Even the rim being too shallow I find is no longer an issue because the love I have for it.The magnet is very very strong which fits any MagSafe accessories snugly without any concern of it falling. I used Otterbox only but they no longer include a holster and their magnets are very weak comparing to this.Anyone trying to find otterbox replacement definitely need to try this one because the longer I use it the more I like it. Not as bulky and very comfortable grip. I for sure won’t be going back to otterbox unless my phone breaks in this.

I have used the Encased brand of iPhone cases for five years across two models of iPhone (12 mini and 16). The design changes made to the phone case for the iPhone 16 clearly shows Encase cares about their customers and providing a case which protects the phone from daily ware and tear. I have dropped my phones over the five years of use with NO screen damage, this case is works!I did have one issue with my most recent belt clip. The top clip which hold the phone broke only after one week of use. I contacted customer support via the Encased web site with a picture of the broken top clip. They provided a coupon which allowed me to order a replacement belt clip with no shipping charges. The replacement belt clip is working great.

This is not my first case from ENCASED. I have been using them for along time with at least 3 different iPhones. Previously, I was very satisfied with the cases they made, but this one has several problems. Within a month of purchase, the retaining latch at the top broke. Encased promptly replaced the broken part for me. Unfortunately, the spring retainer for the top clip is way too strong and the tension is, in my opinion, going to break again. Their warranty is for ONE occurrence only. The side retainers for the iphone 16 are curved too much in that it take a strong tug to get the phone out of the holder quickly when trying to answer a call. The phone case part is quite tight, but the design impinges (probably less than a millimeter) on the screen and makes the screen protector I installed develop an air bubble at the lower corner of the screen. I am getting by with this and would gladly replace it with another if I could find a brand of belt holster that was better. I have tried others and I wish I could find a better one as I am not happy with this one.

I have been using Encased cases and belt clips exclusively for a few years now. In my view they are reasonably priced and well-made.Recently, the belt clip portion of this Encased product broke on me after only two months of use. I contacted Encased support with my Amazon order number - They promptly processed an order for a replacement case, shipped it the next day.I expected possibly get the runaround on the warranty for the broken belt clip, but they came through immediately and with no hassles. I will continue to give them my business for mobile phone accessories!
