Your cart is empty.The Old Candle Barn is located in Intercourse PA, nestled in the heart of Amish Country. Local craftsmen have been hand pouring and dipping candles the old fashioned way for over 40 years, and have since expanded their line to include potpourri made with high quality botanicals to match their jar scents. The Old Candle Barn started out in John and Fannie Beiler's basement during the late 1960's. The candle making business expanded so rapidly they had to move the operation three times before settling in Intercourse where the current building consists of approximately 28,000 sq. feet. Here at the Old Candle Barn we like to say "Blow out the lights and turn on the candles".

It may be just me, but I was expecting a pleasant, soft floral smell...& this definitely did not provide it! It actually gave me a headache & I ended up throwing it away on the same day it arrived.

I purchased this potpourri nearly 4 years ago and it still has a very good scent. ( I can’t believe it either!) Over that time it has changed bowls, changed rooms and about a year ago I added a shot of brandy to it to ‘spark’ it up. I have had many potpourris over the years but never anything as long lasting as this.After this time there is no musty smell to it. Try a bag...you won’t be disappointed !
