With the Jeep Wrangler, this needs to be uniformly loaded by the tire pressing against it else it will bend to the side and leave a gap through which water will seep through. The original OEM bumper stays flush even without the spare tire and prevents seepage, this needs to have constant applied pressure

I have a 2018 Jeep JLUR with aftermarket wheels. The new spare wheel wasn't even close to touching the stock rubber isolators so I ordered these. They are pretty firm compared to the stock ones. I had to trim about an inch off but they now fit perfectly. I was unable to push them on by hand so I used a screwdriver to push in the center and they popped in easily. So far they seem to be working great and keep the spare from shaking excessively.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SPARE TIRE ISOLATION SYSTEM PERIOD...... My 35 inch Spare was rattling like crazy. The stock Jeep isolators are great for a 31 inch stock tire. After I put larger tires on the Jeep the spare tire rattled away over each and every little bump. I was faced with a full rear bumper upgrade with an additional spare tire rack for $1400.00 or after some research I found these. I was skeptical but decided to risk a few bucks to see if this would work. After some measuring and cutting them to size I mounted them in like 30 seconds. I put the spare back on and took it for a drive and I heard NOTHING..... The rattle for me was gone. Now to be honest, If I hit a big bump I still hear a very slight rattle, but it is hardly noticeable at all. Normal bumps and train tracks etc... I hear nothing. I am seriously impressed with these. They saved me $1400.00 for sure. If you have the spare tire rattle on your jeep JK you need these for sure.

I replaced my spare with a -12 offset 18x9 wheel. These do touch the spare tire, but they could have been a little firmer. They are made to trim to length, but the end is very thin. I did not trim them at all.
